This is email from a colleague this morning:

“anyone else have fun getting home last night? here’s my journey . . .
Announcement at Baker St – Kings Cross closed – bugger, i’ll get Circle to
Liverpool Street
15 minutes on circle line train – hasn’t moved – announcement that circle
line isn’t going to be moving for a long time.
Right, i’ll go down to oxford circus and get the victoria line up to tot
hale.
Get on Bakerloo, sets off, and they announce that Oxford Circus is shut.
Right, i’ll go down to Piccadilly, get pic line up to finsbury park, change
onto vic line
15 mins on Picadilly line train – still hasn’t moved, announcement that it
won’t for a long time.
Announcement that Oxford circus is back open.
Back to oxford circus, get vic line to tot hale and wait 20 mins for
overline train.
