Free Education – High Quality

Isn’t this the Utopia of the Web, or the Internet – free, everything free. Finally, it seams it’s nearly there.
Yesterday I downloaded a free new album by one of the best bends in the world (for me) Radiohead, and almost all week I enjoy lectures form the UC Berkeley University in USA, via the new section in IMS – iTunes U.
Well, the music album is delivered in decent quality free mp3 audio file (160kbs – hey, they are professionals), but the later is with sometimes very bad recorded audio quality (not in encryption, but in sound, level, noise, cable buzzing, bad mics…, some lectures are impossible to hear), but still, they are free – and very valuable, informative and finally – educative.
Another free source of education is the MIT Open Courseware. This courses require a bit more engagement by you, self-discipline in reading, learning and taking examples and exams on our own – but still, it is all free, and it is there. MIT also have lot of audio courses and lectures via iTunes U.
It’s all yours (while available form the servers that is). And it’s free. Note, all education content providers are form USA.
Open “iTunes U” in your iTunes.
